Our beef tendons are produced from the skin of bull’s genitals, dried in our ovens for 48 hours to preserve as effectively as possible their nutrients and natural minerals. This drying process ensures that the tendons taste delicious, making them a great reward for your dog. Tendons are a nutritional source of essential amino acids, mineral salts and vitamins. Rich in protein and low in fat, they are ideal for low-calorie diets and are a valuable addition to the diets of pets that need a high protein intake for the following reasons: pregnancy and suckling, growing, exercise, old age, malabsorption, recovery from malnutrition, etc. Due to the absence of lactose, gluten or histamine, they have no contraindications for the diet of dogs that are lactose- and/or histamine-intolerant, or coeliac. They encourage chewing because they help to strengthen the jaw muscles, and thanks to their tough, fibrous texture they help to combat the formation of plaque and tartar for healthy teeth and gums.
